Why doesn't this happen more often? A pitch to a Hollywood Studio Executive: "I want to do a two-hour car chase." What could go wrong? This film has awesome hand-built vehicles, exquisite costumes, and real-life explosions start to finish. Its after-world villain who rules the meek with his water supply feels ominously more real than five years ago. The women are powerful. A Grade-T2 action film.
