「人と人との関わり　Connections between people」碁盤斬り　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

ふと出会った人に、少し踏み込んで関わることで、
心に変化が起こることがある。

この映画の中で、
それが囲碁の対局を
通じて、起こっている。

対局という状況がゆえ、
立場や身分、職業を超えて
それが起こって行く様が面白い。

堅物な主人公が、強欲な商人を変えていき、
主人公の娘が、吉原の大女将を心酔させ、
仇討ちの相手ですら、主人公を変えていき、
強欲な商人ですら、主人公を変えていく。

その変える力は、各々が持つ
言い分や、矜持、覚悟だ。

表裏一体で、その功罪があったことは
理解しているつもりだけれど、
個人の裁量と責任があった時代、
しきたりや、決まり事はあったけれど、
人が裁量を行使し、責任を引き受けることにより、
柔らかく対応できた時代だった。

古典落語が下敷きの物語と聞いて、
合点が行った。

SNSやインターネットがあることで、
瞬時に、起こったことが、
真偽の是非を検討するまもなく
拡散され断罪されるようになって久しい。

グレーな部分はほぼ消滅し、
白と黒のクッキリした物ばかりが目立つようになった。

それにも、功罪がある。

うまい落とし所ってないものかなぁ
とこの映画を観ながら考えてしまった。

Sometimes, encountering a person and getting involved with them a bit deeper can bring about changes in the heart.

In this movie, this happens through the game of Go.

The interesting aspect is that, due to the nature of the game, it transcends positions, social status, and professions, allowing these changes to occur.

The stern protagonist transforms a greedy merchant,
the protagonist's daughter captivates the madam of Yoshiwara,
even the protagonist's nemesis changes him,
and even the greedy merchant changes the protagonist.

The power to change comes from each person's arguments, pride, and resolve.

While I understand that there were merits and demerits, in an era when individuals had discretion and responsibility, there were customs and rules, but people could respond flexibly by exercising their discretion and taking responsibility.

Hearing that this story is based on classic rakugo, it made perfect sense.

With the advent of SNS and the internet, it's been a long time since events spread instantly without a moment to verify their truthfulness, and people are judged immediately.

The gray areas have almost disappeared, and only the stark contrasts of black and white stand out.

This too has its merits and demerits.

While watching this movie, I found myself wondering if there is no good middle ground.
