「映画による治療　Therapy through film」ジョーカー　フォリ・ア・ドゥ　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

前作は観た。

で今作を観ながら、
前作が社会に与えた影響が
本当に洒落にならなかったんだな
とジワジワ思い至った。

ここ最近のハリウッドのコミック実写化は
リアル思考、リアルにしたらどうなるか
という傾向が強く、
映像技術の高度化と相まって、
現実との区別がつかなくなってきている。

故に、前作の描き方は、
ヤバかった。
多くの人が「ジョーカーは私だ」
と思っても不思議はない。
日本では、そこまでではなかったのは
社会状況が違うし、アーサーは英語話してたし。

そこでジョーカーに共感した人が
抜けられなくなるほどに、
リアルさの度合いが高過ぎた。

虚構は虚構、
現実は現実、
ジョーカーはいない、
と目を覚まさせる必要がある。

観る前は、
ジョーカーが、よく知っているジョーカーになって
あわよくばこの世界のバットマンとか出てくるのか
と思っていたが、
そんな事したら現実に勘違いした
どこかの富豪が
押しかけバッドマンやって
さらに混乱するだろう。

今作を観ながら
これは治療だ、と思った。

映画を観ているのか、
リアルに中継を観ているのか、
外に出たら、
ジョーカーを支持する群衆が居るんじゃ
と錯覚してきた。

これは、夢から覚めるための治療だ。

I watched the previous film.

And while watching the latest one,
I gradually realized just how much of an impact
the previous film had on society.

Recent Hollywood adaptations of comic books
tend to lean heavily towards realism—
what would happen if it were real?
This trend, combined with advancements in visual effects,
is making it harder to distinguish between reality and fiction.

That’s why the way the previous film was portrayed
was intense.
It’s not surprising that many people thought,
“I am the Joker.”
In Japan, it didn’t go that far,
because the social situation is different, and Arthur was speaking English.

The level of realism was so high that it trapped people
who resonated with the Joker.

Fiction is fiction,
reality is reality,
the Joker doesn’t exist,
and people need to wake up.

Before watching the latest film,
I thought the Joker might become the Joker I know well,
and maybe Batman from this world would show up.
But if that happened, some wealthy person misunderstanding the situation
might rush in to play Batman, causing even more confusion.

As I watched the latest film,
I felt like this was a form of therapy.

I wasn’t sure if I was watching a movie
or a live broadcast.
I even started to imagine that when I step outside,
there might be a crowd of people supporting the Joker.

This film is therapy to wake us from that dream.
