Mid-90s perfectly creates the look and feel of the mid 90s, but in my view the way the kids behave is more reminiscent of the early 2000s. But while the draw may be a reenactment of a time period ripe for exploration after everything has been beat out of the 80's, the film shines for its ad-lib acting reminiscent of mid-70's films. There's no moral to the story, so it is a tad dead weight.
