The sympathetic look at the killer in the film was just depressing to me personally. The way the film ends, leaving room for lingering and discussion, shows the intelligence of the filmmakers, but at the same time, I found it to be naive. I think it is a Japanese film that postpones the conclusion and keeps an indefinite attitude, which is very reserved. It was interesting only in the beginning. It became boring at once when the two men make an arrangement to go to an amusement park. The detective's personality was too strong and competent, so he completely eclipsed the main character. Perhaps because of the difference in the level of skill of the actors, the supporting actors left a more vivid impression on the audience. I watched this film expecting a crime suspense in which the criminal side makes an irreversible mistake, digs a grave, and destroys themselves, but it was a humanistic story that was close to human sentimentality.
