There is much to learn about composing music with Ryuichi Sakamoto. But beyond revealing his fascinating mind in the realm of music, he demonstrates that music is a hyper-physical radar in this unclear world. Moreoever, it's a healing power to his cancer. There are some fantastic moments in Coda, though the film kind of weaves in and out of those and nearly haphazardly leaving us wanting more.
