I've been away from the US for so long, after watching this movie for the first time in maybe over 20 years, I was surprised to see how much of American memorabilia this movie served me. The interior of the McFly house reminds me of so many American homes, and McFly's dad is just like my uncle. The position of the black characters in the film is relevant to recent news. A silly movie but fun.
