「先生、それはいくら何でも難しくないですか？Teacher, isn't this just a bit too difficult?」小学校　それは小さな社会　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

子供と対峙する大変さと、
それに伴う喜びと、
凄い仕事だなと改めて思った。

と、同時に、大半の先生方は
おそらく、大学からそのまま学校へ就職されたことを考えると
それ以外の道筋で教師になる方法も
あったほうが良いんじゃないかと
思ってしまった。

それほどまでに大変な仕事だから。

別の仕事を経験して、
そこから教師になる人がいることは
教師にとっても子供たちにとっても
良いことなんじゃ？
と思いながら見ていた。

映画に出てくる先生方は、
本当によくやっていると思うけれど、
引き出しのバリエーションで苦労しているようにも見えた。

後半、新１年生を歓迎するために、
ベートーヴェンの第９の４楽章をみんなで
色んな楽器で弾く試みがあったけれど、
まぁまぁ難しい部分から、最後に向けてをやっていた。
みんな頑張ってついていって、結果上手くいっていたけど、
ずいぶん、チャレンジングなことをするなぁと
感心するとともに
「先生、それはいくら何でも難しくないですか？」
とも思ってしまった。

自分は結婚してないし、
当然、子供もいないので、
小学校の今をこうして垣間見れたのは
貴重な経験だった。

Facing children is both challenging and rewarding.
Once again, I was reminded of how incredible this job is.

At the same time, considering that most teachers likely go straight from university into teaching,
I couldn't help but think that there should be alternative paths to becoming a teacher.

After all, it’s such a demanding profession.

Wouldn't it be beneficial for both teachers and children
if some teachers had prior experience in other fields before stepping into the classroom?
That thought crossed my mind as I observed them.

The teachers in movies seem to do an excellent job,
but they also appear to struggle with the variety of approaches they can take.

Later, to welcome the new first graders,
the students attempted to play the fourth movement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony
using various instruments.
They tackled a fairly challenging section leading up to the finale.
Everyone worked hard to keep up, and in the end, they pulled it off.
But I was both impressed by the ambitious challenge
and found myself thinking,
"Teacher, isn't this just a bit too difficult?"

Since I’m not married and, of course, don’t have children,
getting a glimpse into the reality of elementary school today
was a valuable experience for me.
