Nolan eerily evokes The Prestige's "Are you watching closely?" in a similarly themed story about a scientist trounced by his creation. As for historical accuracy, the film doesn't contradict anything in the Hiroshima Peace Museum and dispels common US myths such as that the Japanese were warned prior. The sound is the film's strongest game. The cosmos began with a bang and will end with one too.
