This critique of the pandemic era feels fresh out of the oven. The film has fun with the disorienting nature of its masked cross-dialogue. The middle of the film is a no-narration alphabet of haiku shots which have little to do with the story. The film is what would be Buñuel's answer to today's mass consumption of pornography. Vaporizing with nowhere to go, its brilliance will be tested by time.
