Winterbottom's comedies aren't designed to provoke laughter. The characters play themselves as they wine and dine across Spain. They're old actor friends with inside jokes. It's part of the dark humor if you don't find them funny when they're paid to be. In the meantime we get a tour of Spain's Michelin restaurants along with mid-life drama. You'll want a trip to Spain too before you get too old.
