Half way through this film I realized I had seen it before, though I don't remember where. Laurie Anderson's musings on the surveillance state seem far more relevant five years later--shocking indeed. Her concept of life and death is at times eerie but there is an agnostic comfort in how she reflects. Our connection with animals is something we should all ponder--this film is on that plain.
