I don't know what to say about this film but this is a brilliant film anyway . Precious , who is a school girl abused raped by her parents resulting in two pregnancies can neither read nor write at all but she attends an alternative school that turns her lie around in the end , where she learns to read and write by writing essays to her teacher everyday , however her brutal mother carries on treating her like a slave at home .. How sad and tragic this story is . But I really enjoyed it and learnt how essential love , warm hearted people etc are . Have fun !
