Lethal Weapon 2 is a step-up more satisfying than the previous one. Mel Gibson has developed into a slightly more likable character. The action scenes are a bit more daring, and the bad guys are much more villainous. The collateral body count is higher, which makes for good old fashioned R-rated entertainment. You won't get any smarter watching it, but it's a good time letting the film run on TV.
