A quiet film on a postman who finds an unlikely friendship with an exiled poet. Conversations inspire him to pursue a romance with borrowed words. It's an interestingly imaginative tale on cosmically inconsequential romance. It ends with unanticipated political turmoil reminsicent of Z. A cross-continental production that earned five Oscar nods. Old-fashioned indie unlike contemporary films.
