「Showa Classic on the Edo World」人情紙風船 Dan Knightonさんの映画レビュー(感想・評価)
Showa Classic on the Edo World
Released a month after the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, Humanity and Paper Balloons is an extract of Japan art at the dawn of WWII. It is director Yamanaka's last before he was drafted into the army prior to dying of illness in Manchuria a year afterward. The apex of Japanese production in this era—no director under 30 makes work like this today. At only 80 minutes your focus will be complimented.
