「合わせる顔はあったんだよYou 【did】 have a face to show him」平場の月　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

本当に好きな人に対しては臆病になり、
本当に好きな人のことや思いは
自分の思いとは裏腹に
尊重してしまう。

原作未読。

堺雅人さん、井川遥さんはもちろんですが
二人の中学生時代を演じた
坂元愛登さん、一色香澄さんが素晴らしかった。

ちゃんと二人の過去になっていたので
物語に違和感が全くなかった。

「お前、あのとき何考えてたの？」
「夢みたいなことだよ。夢みたいなことをね、ちょっと」

観終わった後、
「夢みたいなこと」は
あのシーンだったんだなと思うと
胸が締め付けられた。

空がとても美しく、
二人きりで、
まっすぐお互いのことを
楽しそうに語り合っている。
そして、
誰憚る（だれはばかる）ことなく
とびきりの笑顔で青春している様は
とても眩しかった。
だからこそ切なかった。

この後に、星野源さんの
「いきどまり」は
あまりに辛く美しい。

生々しく
儚く
そして、美しい。
二人が一緒に過ごしたかった青春の片鱗。
それがこの映画だった。

When it comes to someone you truly love,
you become timid,
and your feelings for them—
no matter how strong—
turn into a kind of respect that ends up overriding your own desires.

I haven’t read the original novel.

Masato Sakai and Haruka Igawa were wonderful, of course,
but Aito Sakamoto and Kasumi Isshiki,
who played their middle-school selves,
were truly outstanding.
They felt unmistakably like the past of the two,
and the story carried no dissonance at all.

“What were you thinking back then?”
“Something like a dream. Something dreamlike… just a little.”

After the film ended,
realizing that that scene was what she meant by
“something dreamlike”
tightened my chest.

The sky was breathtaking,
just the two of them,
speaking joyfully and sincerely about each other.
Their unreserved, radiant smiles—
the very picture of青春—
were dazzling.
And that is why it hurt.

And then comes Gen Hoshino’s
“Ikidomari.”
Unbearably painful,
and unbearably beautiful.

Raw,
fleeting,
and achingly beautiful—
a glimpse of the youth they wished they’d had together.
That was this film.
