予告編とポスター観て、
観てみようと思い、実際観た。

久々に観ている途中で
「やられた」と思わざるを得なかった。

演者は良い人を揃えてた。
誰も手を抜いてなかった。

ただ、
ストーリーは
演出は
ここ数年でなかなかないくらい、
薄かった。

多分ホラーなんだろうけど、
ほぼ裏設定的なものは皆無と思われ
薄っすら聞いた事があるような、
因習や伝説、、伝承？をつぎはぎにした
コラージュみたいな。

色んなことが起こるけど、
起こってるだけ。
繋がりの必然性は皆無。

映像や効果音はそれなりだっけど、
キーとなる世界の見た目は、
生成AIで作ってねえよな？
と一瞬疑ってしまった。

予告編が一番カッコウ良かったというパターン。

酷すぎて笑ったし
こういうのも含めて
映画は面白い。

原作を聴きました。

YouTubeで
「八木商店　男神」で検索。

ちょっと改変が酷すぎる。
ほぼほぼ何も残ってない。
全く別物。
これはダメだよ。
原作者に失礼な気がしている。
これからどうやったらあの映画が出来るのか
全く理解できない。

After seeing the trailer and poster, I thought I’d give it a try—and I actually did.

For the first time in a while, I found myself thinking mid-watch, “Damn, they got me.”

The cast was well-chosen. Nobody was slacking.

But—
The story,
The direction—
Were about as thin as anything I’ve seen in recent years.

It’s probably supposed to be horror, but there seemed to be almost no underlying lore. More like a collage stitched together from faintly familiar customs, legends, and folklore.

Lots of things happened, but they just happened. There was no sense of necessity tying them together.

The visuals and sound effects were decent enough, but the key look of the world made me wonder for a second: “Did they use generative AI for this?”

It was one of those cases where the trailer looked the coolest.

It was so bad I laughed—and including that, it made the movie fun in its own way.
