miletさんの歌が、声が好きなので
その意味でも楽しみにして観に行った。

予想を遥かに超えて良かった。

いろんな作品で、
女優さんが役で歌うというパターンは多い。
それらは作品としてとても良いものが多いけれど
実際のシンガーソングライターに
あんな自然な演技を全編に亘って見せられ、
あの声で歌われると
ヒロインは前園ミナミなのかmiletなのか
頭が混乱して来る。

その意味でこの作品は
miletさんへの当て書きとも言える。
【本当に自分が作った歌】を
【自分の声】で歌っている。

だからこの作品の前園ミナミ役は
miletさん以外在り得ない。

なので劇中miletさんが歌う
「I still」が変なところに刺さって、
泣ける上に、抜けない抜けない。
公開が始まる前からヘビロテしてたもんだから尚更。

脇を固めるキャストも
巧みな人ばかりなので安心して観れる。

個人的には風吹ジュンさん演じる
祖母の前園和江のスピンオフを
観て観たい気がする。

I love milet’s singing and her voice, so I was really looking forward to seeing this movie.

It turned out to be far better than I had expected.

In many works, it’s common for actresses to sing as part of their role. While many of those performances are great, seeing a real singer-songwriter act so naturally throughout the entire film, and hearing her sing with that incredible voice, left me feeling confused about whether the heroine was Minami Maezono or milet herself.

In that sense, this movie feels like it was written specifically for milet. She sings her own song with her own voice.

That’s why no one else could have played Minami Maezono.

Because of that, when milet sings “I still” in the movie, it strikes a strange chord, making me cry, and the feeling lingers on and on. I had been listening to it on repeat even before the movie was released, which made it hit even harder.

The supporting cast is also filled with talented actors, so you can watch with complete confidence.

Personally, I’d love to see a spin-off about Minami’s grandmother, Kazue Maezono, played by Jun Fubuki.

This is a film I truly hope everyone gets to see.
