One reason to love Wes is that even if the film isn't necessarily a masterpiece one can at least enjoy the charming ditty of a colorful storybook tale with the dry humor acted by Wes' A-list friends. A tongue-in-cheek exploration of America's atom bomb nucleus, Wes keeps a simple story entertaining by giving equal time to its abundance of characters, as well as to the story's fictional writer.
