Modern mainstream movies have the you-get-what-you-see-in-the-preview problem. You could doze of in the middle and tell your chums all the details and they will have believed you watch the whole thing. Barbarian throws in some acts away from the horror; with multiple side stories and triangles progressing far outside the haunted house. It's a 70's style movie with new formula 2022 shock and style.
