Howard directs a strong star cast collective with Ferrel, Edgerton, and Mortensen. There has been a documentary but the film revisits this amazing story. Shot in Thailand, it feels like a foreign film even with the Hollywood derring-do. With its claustrophobic inner-cave set pieces, it's the perfect big screen-style movie adapted to the small-screen movie streaming experience, with good sound.
