Korea's most popular shocking thriller auteur presents his new grown-up film. The tale of a detective and his conflicted affection for a murder suspect, the story is elevated by Park's skill to show with scenes rather than words. Tang Wei's glamorous appearance is the latest on-screen crush. A little long and with many sides, it's not the most streamlined watch from Park; but it is a proper movie.
