As much as I am aware of Frank Zappa's influence on rock music, I didn't realize until seeing this film how deep the roots are. By far one of the most eccentric musicians, this film shows how seriously he took his work. Musicians might be as comforted as disappointed regarding his faith in not doing it for the money. A kid pyro grown to polyamorous orchestra conductor, it's a colorful biography.
