OC recognizes the short attention span the Internet has inflected upon potential audiences on cinema as literature. It is much like The Square in terms of deadpan sarcasm on the art world. It may be the first film to include ASMR and in doing so successfully interweaves it into the story. Not only tongue-in-cheekly self-aware but aware of the frighteningly strange world this one has become.
