The Elijah Wood-produced schizophrenic thriller Daniel Isn't Real isn't a fantastic film, but it is a nice performance vehicle and goth mini movie that plays as a high profile PBS or BBC weekday thriller special. Colorfully conveyed, it goes in and out of the weird zone with its CGI manipulated faces. Not as brilliant as Mandy but in that direction. The Arnold's son has a supporting role.
