From a salesman's point of view, The Man Who Sold His Skin is nearly a carbon copy of The Square, acting as a parody of the art world with bizarre situations unfolding on screen. But the film has a little more heart with a love story at its center, and it often teeters the other way from silliness to lighthearted drama. With a Tunisian female filmmaker, it's some fresh directorial perspective.
