Approaching the finale to The Avengers, which featured like twenty movies shoved into one, Civil War gave the franchise some momentum in practice throwing a bit of everybody in together like they had already been doing this since the first Avengers movie. It's a mess, but the introduction of Black Panther and a new Spider-Man are fun Marvel moments. The special effects look good six years later.
