「John Woo Invents the John Woo Film」狼　男たちの挽歌・最終章　Dan Knightonさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

Bloody shootouts, killers with no conscience, doves, a woman in trouble, bystanders getting shot, guns that don't ever need to be reloaded, a church and some more doves; John Woo's career can all be found in its crude form in The Killer. The body count isn't as high as the greater action flick Hardboiled, released just a few years later; but this film does lay the groundwork for 90's action.
