The prelude to the Wizarding World's finale certainly has the look of being the darkest of the series yet. Quite literally: you may need to turn the lights off to see what's on screen. Thus it was the only Harry Potter film to receive a nomination for Best Cinematography by the Academy Awards. It's slow compared to the other films, with much backstory making it unsuitable as a standalone watch.
