In my entire life, not one person has ever recommended Lethal Weapon. I always assumed it was some dated, unfunny, cornball 80's action meant for Saturday-afternoon TV. To my surprise, it's a decent action flick, with bloody gun fights, really bad bad guys, and problematic, macho antiheroes. Not as smart as Eastwood, but definitely more of a crack-the-whip adventure. A pre-Die Hard Christmas film.
