After two decades have passed, we can admit with confidence that Fargo is one of the most all-around completed films in history--a knot made out of a single piece of yarn loop. Its revelations are cinema at its best . The bad guys are stuck in a quicksand rut between evil and hyper-evil, played by silent Swede Stormare. McDormand's acting skills are worth further study after her recent Oscar win.
