「リアルさが迫ってくるThe Reality Hits Hard」君の顔では泣けない　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

あらすじは言うまでもなく
中身が入れ替わってしまった男女の物語。

令和の現在、若手の俳優達の演技が凄すぎる。

芳根京子さん、高橋海斗さんの
あまりに自然すぎる演技に
中身の入れ替わりをすんなり受け入れていた。

15歳の二人を演じた、
西川愛莉さんと武市尚士さんも自然で
過去と現在の繋がりに全く違和感がなかった。

入れ替わることの苦悩も
現在の二人、過去の二人が
各々の性に対する戸惑いで
表現している。

二人の家族、
友達との関係から
見ているだけで背景が分かる
巧みな脚本と演出が素晴らしい。

女性が女性ゆえに抱える問題、
男性が男性ゆえに抱える問題を
中身が入れ替わることにより
それぞれの抱える違和感として
観るものに提示する。

普通に暮らしていると
まず気が付かないのだ。

今回、ちょうど良い時間だったので
観賞後にたまたま
映画【ブルーボーイ事件】を
ハシゴして観てしまったので、
多少混乱しながら書いています。

主要なキャストも被っているのでなおさら。

ノンフィクションを元にしているか
完全なフィクションかの差はあるけれど
どちらも、自らの性に関する違和感
というところでは、
似ている。

時間があるのなら
どちらも観賞するのをお勧めします。

I haven’t read the original novel.

The premise needs no explanation:
it’s a story about a boy and a girl whose bodies are suddenly swapped.

What struck me most was how astonishingly good the young actors of the Reiwa era are.

Kyoko Yoshine and Kaito Takahashi deliver performances so natural that I accepted the body-swap premise without hesitation.

The 15-year-old versions of the characters, played by Airi Nishikawa and Hisashi Takeichi, were just as convincing, creating a seamless connection between past and present.

The anguish of switching bodies—
both the present-day pair and their younger selves
express this through their confusion over gender and physical identity.

Their families,
their friends,
and the relationships surrounding them
quietly reveal the background without heavy exposition.
It’s an impressive feat of screenwriting and direction.

The issues women face precisely because they are women,
and the issues men face because they are men—
the body swap presents these as the characters’ own discomfort,
inviting the audience to confront them as well.

In everyday life,
you hardly ever notice such things.

By chance, the timing worked out,
so right after finishing this film,
I ended up double-featuring it with The Blue Boy Incident.
I’m writing this with a bit of my impressions mixed together.

All the more so because several main cast members appear in both films.

One is based on nonfiction, the other is complete fiction—
but both share a common thread:
a sense of dissonance regarding one’s own gender and identity.

I recommend watching both.
