「強いえなりくんStrong Enari-kun」ベスト・キッド　レジェンズ　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

王道のベストキッドが帰ってきた。

決して強そうには見えない主人公、
（ただ今回はカンフーの基礎は出来てる）
ラスボスに先ずは打ちのめされる、
という展開は安心感がある。
それがラストの伏線になるとは
思いもよらず。

しかも主演のベン・ウォンが
個人的には、【えなりかずき】にしか見えず
弱い感じがマシマシだ。

演出はアメリカの格闘映画の伝統（？）に則り
ロッキー4を彷彿とさせるシーンがあったり
（お互いのトレーニングを交互に見せるあたり）
ジャッキーが出てるのもあり、
カンフー映画定番の笑わせるシーンもありと
十分楽しめた。

戦うシーンは
流石21世紀だなあと思わせるルールだったり、
主人公がトラウマを抱えていたり、
新しい要素も沢山あった。

知らなかったが、
初期の作品のスピンオフドラマもあったようで
その雰囲気もいい感じで盛り込んでいた。

初めて観る人にとっても、
過去作を知っている人にとっても
楽しめる、文字通り
レジェンズな内容だと思います。

The classic Karate Kid has returned.

The protagonist doesn’t look strong at all (though this time he already has the basics of kung fu).
He first gets completely beaten by the final boss — a development that actually feels reassuring.
Little did I expect that this would become the setup for the ending.

What’s more, the lead actor, Ben Wang, to me personally looked just like Kazuki Enari, which only amplified the impression of his weakness.

The direction follows the tradition of American fighting films, with scenes reminiscent of Rocky IV (like showing each side’s training in alternating cuts). Since Jackie Chan appears, it also includes the classic humorous moments of kung fu films — and it was more than entertaining enough.

The fight scenes incorporated rules that clearly reflect the 21st century. The protagonist carried emotional trauma, and there were many fresh elements.

I hadn’t known this, but apparently there was even a spinoff drama from the early films, and the vibe of that was nicely woven in too.

For first-time viewers as well as those familiar with the earlier works, this was enjoyable — truly a legends-level entry.
