Huluで前作予習して観に行った。

今作は原作者のタニシさんから、
主人公の設定が違うものになった。

タニシさんに思い入れがある分、
個人的に、今回の主人公の状況や
キャラクターに感情移入しづらかった。

後半の重要なシーンについても、
（前半から伏線がある）
違和感が拭えなかった。

ストーリーはよく練られていて、
作品としての出来は良かったと思う。

ただ細かい「うーん」が
作品への集中を妨げてしまった。

I watched the previous film on Hulu to prepare before going to see this one.

In this installment, the protagonist’s background has been changed from the original story by Tanishi, the author.

Because I have a strong attachment to Tanishi, I personally found it difficult to empathize with the current protagonist’s situation and character.

Even in the crucial scenes in the latter half (which are foreshadowed earlier), I couldn’t shake a sense of discomfort.

The story itself is well-crafted, and I think the film is solid as a piece of work.

But small moments of “hmm…” kept pulling me out of the experience.
