「呪物in USA A Cursed Object in the USA」ロングレッグス　新米エヴァンゲリストさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

観終わった後、
これは本当にアメリカで作られたのか？
と思ってしまった。

映画の軸に
呪物とそれを作った者が存在する。

これまでのアメリカ映画なら、
この呪いに必ずと言っていいほど
キリスト教の影響が色濃く出る。

しかし、この映画はそれが見えない。
呪いと呪物がキリスト教とは関係なく存在している。

これをそのまま、日本版でリメイクしても
違和感がない。

一部界隈で、リアルに呪物は注目され、
【祝祭の呪物展】もシリーズ化されて開催され、
実際の呪物を目にすることができる。

大阪での開催は欠かさず行っている身としては、
今回の映画で使用された呪物は
実際の呪物を見ているので
真実味を持って迫ってくる。

呪物の持つ法則も
違和感なく物語に組み込まれているので、
終わらない呪いとして続編も可能だろう。

とにかく、アメリカ映画でこんな作品が出たことが
個人的には大変驚きだ。

After watching it, I couldn’t help but wonder—was this really made in America?

At the core of the film lies a cursed object and the one who created it.

In most American films up to now, curses like this are almost always deeply tied to Christian influences.

However, in this film, that influence is nowhere to be seen.
The curse and the object exist independently of Christianity.

Honestly, it could be remade in Japan just as it is, and it wouldn’t feel out of place.

In certain circles, cursed objects are drawing real attention.
The “Festival of Cursed Objects” exhibitions have become a series, allowing people to actually see these items.

As someone who never misses the exhibitions held in Osaka, I found the cursed object used in the film incredibly convincing—it struck close to reality because I’ve seen similar ones in person.

The rules surrounding the cursed object are naturally woven into the story, making a sequel entirely possible as a never-ending curse.

In any case, I was personally very surprised that a film like this came out of America.
