There have been a number of documentaries on life in the Hermit Kingdom, but Beyond Utopia is the first I have seen on its runaways. The film focuses on a Christian priest who buys them from human traffickers in China. They must venture by land to the Thai border where they can then fly to South Korea. As such, its more scathing of the regime than others that tend to humanize with silver linings.
