Get Ready to Be Sad
With no prior knowledge of the family this film chronicles, and little to no interest in wrestling in general, I was surprised that the story here proceeds into an increasingly heartbreaking all-American family tale. The father disclipines his sons to be the best in wrestling, a sport tough on the mind and body as it is. Zac Efron is unrecognizable in muscle and behind a stern quality performance.
PS : I use the word “empathy” as the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
