This countryside story in Albania reminded me of an overnight train journey through the mountains of Romania I was on a decade ago. I reminisced of the people outside homes wrangling livestock among broken fences and pieces of automobile machinery scattered about. The lead character, an elderly honey collector with a beehive satchel, is one of the iconic characters of the previous year's cinema.
