Among the least accessible of Jean Luc Godard films, 2 or 3 Things is an essay piece on the state of the world during Paris' rapid 60's redevelopment into the future. There is less story and there resembles the aimlessness of Godard's late films. It's a colorful film bordering on pretense, but the film is effective in mooting the aloofness of progress set against the backdrop of war in Vietnam.
