A good old-fashioned flick with a distant future dystopia that satisfies the viewers' need for a good story. Robocop 2 is much more fun than the first one because it's less serious, and the action is over the top. The Robocop itself is a dumb, glitched droid that's funny to identify with merely because it's robustly imperfect. The LSD lord villain's virtual makeover is creatively nightmarish.
