「A comedy with heart, and stellar performances!」ルール・オブ・リビング　“わたし”の生き方・再起動　LeFeverさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

(日本語のレビューは以下) I went into this film with no reservations, curious but not knowing exactly what to expect; and what I discovered was a delightful, genuinely funny movie. It turned out to be much funnier than I anticipated, with humor that felt natural and earned rather than forced.

My biggest pet peeve in any film is bad acting, because it pulls me out of the story completely. I’m happy to say that wasn’t the case here at all. The performances were excellent across the board; authentic, engaging, and full of life; which allowed me to stay immersed in the story from beginning to end.

With Kahō Minami leading as a woman rethinking her life through an unexpected co-living arrangement with an American backpacker, the film manages to balance heart and comedy beautifully. Director Greg Dale captures the cultural differences lightly, while still asking deeper questions about what it means to live authentically.

This is a heartwarming comedy that got me with its charm, humor, and sincerity. I walked out smiling, and I think many others will too.

正直に言うと、何の先入観もなく鑑賞しましたが、そこで出会ったのは予想以上に楽しく、心から笑える映画でした。想像していた以上に面白く、自然で押し付けがましくないユーモアに引き込まれました。

私が映画で最も気になるのは「演技の質」です。演技が下手だと一気に現実に戻されてしまいますが、本作は全くその逆。南果歩さんをはじめ、全キャストの演技がとても自然で説得力があり、最初から最後まで物語の世界に没入できました。

「ルール通りに生きてきた女性がアメリカ人バックパッカーとの同居生活を通して、自分らしい生き方を見つけ直す」というテーマを、グレッグ・デール監督は軽快なコメディタッチの中に描きつつ、「本当に自分らしく生きるとは何か」という普遍的な問いを投げかけます。

心温まるコメディであり、観終わった後には笑顔になれる一作です。期待以上の楽しさと誠実さに満ちており、多くの人に響く作品だと思います。
