「go home stay home」オズの魔法使　critique_0102さんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

もう何度、見たのだろう。
stay homeが言われているこの時期、外は雨、まぁ家にいるしかない。
そのために、ひっそり家にいたら、BSで放送していた。

先日ゼルヴィガーの”Judy”を見たばかりなので、その記憶も覚めやらぬうちに、少しばかり見ようと思ったら、全部最後まで見てしまった。

よく言われているように、
この中のScarecrowはbrainを、
Tin Woodmanはheartを、
Lionはcourageを手に入れる旅だったのだろうが、それはhomeを求めるものでもあったのだろう。

Wizard of Ozはそれぞれ語っていた。
Scarecrowには、
Anybody can have a brain.
That's a very mediocre commodity.....and with no more brains than you have....

Lionには
You are under the unfortunate delusion that simply because you run away from danger, you have no courage.You're confusing courage with wisdom.

Tin Woodmanはhearには
You want a heart!You don't know how lucky you are not to have one.Hearts will never be practical until they can be made unbreakable. Back where I come from there are men who do nothing all day but good deeds.They are called phil...er -- er -- phil -- er, yes...good-deed-doers.And their hearts are no bigger than yours.

自分には無いものをあえて求めなくても人は生きていける。
求めようとするが故に、自分を満ち足りていない自分に気づかされる。それでいいのだろうか。
homeとは、そこにいるだけで、その存在そのものが自分を安堵させるものではないのか。人はそれに気付いていないのではないのか。

But it wasn't a dream --it was a place. And you -- and you -- and you --and you were there. But you couldn't have been, could you?

となるのだが、
ただ、やっぱり、Judyにとって、彼女自身のhomeはどこにあったのかと思ってしまう。

先に見た映画の残像を残したまま。。。
