Sasquatch Sunset is a quirky comedy of errors that feels like a short film concept stretched to feature length. The irreverent, gross-out humor is reminiscent of Jack Black's Year One, but the film’s lack of dialogue elevates it to something approaching higher art, akin to the ape sequence in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The biggest laugh came when I realized Jesse Eisenberg played one of the sasquatches, adding an unexpected layer of humor to the film. Produced by Ari Aster, Sasquatch Sunset succeeds with its "less is more" approach
