サリー・アン・ストラザース（、1947年7月28日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の女優、活動家。『オール・イン・ザ・ファミリー』でキャロル・オコナーとジーン・ステイプルトンが演じるアーチーとイーディス・バンカーの娘グロリア・スティビック役を演じてエミー賞を2度受賞し、また『ギルモア・ガールズ』でバベット役を演じたことで最もよく知られている。またABCにて放送されたコメディドラマ『恐竜家族』でシャーリーン・シンクレア、ディズニーアニメーションシリーズ『テイルスピン』でレベッカ・カニングガムの声を務めた。

幼少期

1947年7月28日、オレゴン州ポートランド で、マーガレット・キャロライン（旧姓ジャーンズ）と外科医のロバート・オルデン・ストラザースの2人の娘のうち1人として生まれた。母方の祖父母はノルウェー人の移民である。

彼女が9歳頃の時に父親が家族を捨て 、その後、ポートランド北東部のコンコーディア地区でシングルマザーに育てられた。母親はボンヌヴィル電力事業団で働きながら2人の娘を支えていたが、ストラザースが子供の頃に深刻な鬱病に苦しんでいた。

経歴

米国で1970年に公開された『ファイブ・イージー・ピーセス』で、ストラザースはジャック・ニコルソンの相手役としてキャストされた。また米国で1972年に公開された『ゲッタウェイ』では、落ち着きがない獣医の妻として登場した。同じ頃、1970年代のコメディドラマ『オール・イン・ザ・ファミリー』でグロリア・スティビックとしてデビューした。 ストラザースは、ジョージア州アトランタのファビュラス・フォックス・シアター と1990年代後半の全国ツアーでの『アニー』の舞台で主演を務めた。2000年代初めからはメイン州オガンキットのオガンキット・プレイハウスの常連となり、2012年には"Always ... Patsy Cline"にルイーズ・シーガー役で出演し、ミュージカル『9時から5時まで』にはロズ・クライン役で出演した。

活動

ストラザースは、発展途上国の貧しい子供たちを支援するために活動するクリスチャン・チルドレンズ・ファンド（後にチャイルド・ファンドに改名）の広報担当者である。彼女の活動は、デニス・リアリーの曲"Voice in my Head"で風刺されている。
